A metal plate 1 for covering concrete floors or walls is formed with rearwardly projecting tongues 2, 3 pressed out of the plate, and at the edges with alternate projections 6 and recesses 7, the portions cut out to form the recesses 7 forming the rearwardly extending tongues 9. These tongues may have extensions 3 to engage under an adjacent plate. On two edges the extensions 3 may be continuous so as to form a marginal strip 12 integral with tongues 9. The plate may be square, rectangular or hexagonal.</p> |
