<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine capable of reducing the risk of a third person stealing a glance at the customer information of a user, and of carrying out safe and easy transactions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This automatic teller machine is provided with an operation part for accepting an operation by a user for performing prescribed transaction; and it body part for performing the prescribed transaction according to the operation. The operation part accepts an instruction to input the movement of the operation part, and the body part is provided with a moving means for moving the operating part; and a movement control means for, when the instruction is accepted, controlling the operation of the moving means so that the operation part can be moved to the front part of the front face of the body part or move to the back part of the front face of the body part.
