<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel maintaining fresh texture without losing a sense of taste of food as much as possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The body of a plate to be used, a food vessel, or a cover for keeping them warm is thickened, a space is formed in a thickened section, and a heat-retaining/cold reserving agent is inserted into the space. At a field site such as a dining hall and a nursing home where it is necessary to cook the large amount of dishes within a short time, it is impossible to simultaneously cook the large amount of dishes. Therefore, previously cooked dishes get easily cold. Especially at the dining hall, cook-ahead-type dishes are prepared, and at many dining halls, the dishes are reheated after customers decide selection. Using the plate, the necessity of reheating is eliminated, an energy-saving effect is provided, and at the same time, wasted labor expenses caused by double work can be also eliminated.
