OPTIMIZATION METHOD FOR CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT AND OPTIMIZATION EQUIPMENT FOR CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT

An optimization method for channel assignment and an optimization equipment for channel assignment based on multiple iterations are provided. The optimization method for channel assignment includes an optimal path searching process for channel assignment and a channel switching process. During the optimal path searching process for channel assignment, an initializing base station (IBS) negotiates with adjacent base stations to find the optimal path for channel assignment by multiple iterations. The IBS and its adjacent base stations start the channel switching process only after the feasible optimal path for channel assignment has been found successfully, thereby the useless channel switching is avoided. Furthermore, a threshold of the iteration times is preset in order to avoid the problem of non-converging in time during the iteration process, and the optimal path searching process for channel assignment on current channel will be stopped and be changed to other channels so as to find another path once the number of the current iteration times is more than the threshold.
