<p>In an uplink line, the transmitter diversity of the uplink line is efficiently performed by switching between an SFBC and a CDD in accordance with required transmission power. A wireless transmitter which is provided with transmitting antennas (21-1, 21-2), and which selects any of a plurality of kinds of transmitter diversity methods to perform the transmitter diversity comprises a transmission power determination section (14) for determining transmission power on the basis of the information notified from a receiver which is a destination, a transmitter diversity method selection section (15) for selecting one of the plurality of kinds of transmitter diversity methods on the basis of the determined transmission power, and a switching section (16), an SFBC coding section (17), a CDD section (18), IFFT sections (19-1, 19-2), CP inserting sections (20-1, 20-2), and the transmitting antennas (21-1, 21-2), which perform wireless transmission to the receiver using the selected transmitter diversity method.</p> |
