PURPOSE: A method and a system for performing communication by interlinking an infra network and an ad-hoc network through a changeable frame structure are provided to effectively guarantee the link performance of the whole system by using the same frequency band, thereby supporting communication through an IS network and communication through the ad-hoc network. CONSTITUTION: A first frame forming unit(310) comprises a first frame for communication between a base station and terminals if it is managed only by an IS network. If an operation mode is a mixed mode, a second frame forming unit(320) forms and outputs a second frame which converts the first frame. A multiplexer(340) multiplexes the first and the second frame and transmits the network. A demultiplexer(350) receives the multiplexed data and divides the first and the second frame.
