<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for estimating a normal structure of a predetermined layer constituting an object with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: an image acquisition unit 220 for acquiring a tomographic image of the object; an object information acquisition unit 210 for acquiring normal-time data of the predetermined layer that constitutes the object; a layer detection unit 251 for detecting the predetermined layer from the tomographic image obtained by the image acquisition unit 220; and a normal structure estimation unit 252 for estimating the normal structure of the predetermined layer, using the detection result of the predetermined layer detected by the layer detection unit 251 and the normal-time data of the predetermined layer obtained by the object information acquisition unit 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
