<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of reducing an operation frequency of temperature detection by securely detecting the presence/absence of a human body in a bathroom and preventing the deterioration of comfortability during bathing while saving energy. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater includes: a bathtub 1; a water circulating passage 3 where hot water in the bathtub 1 is circulated; a circulation means 4 for circulating the hot water in the bathtub 1 in the water circulating passage 3; a temperature detection means 5 for detecting the temperature of the hot water circulated in the water circulating passage 3; a human body sensing means 7 for detecting a human body in the bathroom 9; a water level sensing means 8 for sensing the water level in the bathtub 1; and a control means 6. When the human body sensing means 7 detects the presence of the human body in the bathroom, or when the water level sensing means 8 detects a rise of a water level, a detection method of detecting the temperature of the hot water circulated in the water circulating passage 4 is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
