<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that achieves both high optical output and contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes: a package having a plurality of recessed parts on an upper surface thereof; and an light emitting element which is accommodated in each recessed part and which has different types of light emitting wavelengths. The package includes: a first molding resin constituting at least part of the upper surface of the package; and a second molding resin which at least constitutes an inner wall surface of the recessed part of the package and which contains a coloring agent whose color is similar to that of the light emitting wavelength of the light emitting element disposed in the recessed part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
