<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain information notified in broadcast programs from electronic program guides. <P>SOLUTION: An information receiving apparatus includes: an electronic program information obtaining section (a tuner 33 and a control section 32) for obtaining electronic program information from a specific server or a specific broadcasting station providing the electronic program information; a notification information obtaining section (a DEMUX section 34, and the control section 32) for obtaining information included in the obtained electronic program information, or information notified in the broadcast program from a data stream transmitted along with the electronic program information; a recording section 37 for recording content included in the electronic program information obtained by the electronic program information obtaining section and information to be notified obtained by the notification information obtaining section; a notification information extraction section (a video sound output section 36 and the control section 32) for extracting content relating to information that is recorded at the recording section 37 and is notified and information to be notified from the content; and a display control section (a display device 50) for displaying the content extracted by the notification information extraction section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
