<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator reducing cogging torque while a density of magnetic flux occurring inside a stator is sufficiently secured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The generator includes a rotor 1 and the stator 2. The rotor 1 has a rotor magnet 11. A part surrounding the rotor magnet 11 of the stator 2 is made thicker than the rotor magnet 11.
