<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food agitator which eliminates the need of an oil seal and prevents foods from entering into a gap around a revolving shaft during the agitating of the foods. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A bearing cylinder made of self-lubricating resin is press-fitted to the bearing part of a bearing case, with a revolving shaft freely rotatably penetrating this bearing cylinder. In the revolving shaft, a flange is installed in the circumferential direction and, between the flange and the upper end surface of the bearing cylinder, there are mounted a sliding washer and a cushion ring in a superposed manner that the sliding washer comes in contact with the upper end surface of the bearing cylinder. Thus, the foods do not enter into the gap around the revolving shaft, and even if the foods enter thereinto, there is no risk that a grease is blackened and stained into the foods since the grease is not used.
