An abdominal fat measuring device serving as a health care device measures the longitudinal and lateral widths (2a, 2b) of the abdomen of a subject and uses the ellipse specified by the widths as an outline ellipse (A). The abdominal fat measuring device associates an image showing the subcutaneous fat of the back of the abdomen with the ratio between the internal fat mass and the subcutaneous fat mass and stores the image as an added image in advance. The abdominal fat measuring device extracts an image corresponding to the ratio between the measured internal fat mass and subcutaneous fat mass of the subject from among the stored added images, adds the image to the outline ellipse (B), draws and display a figure showing the measured fat-free mass, internal fat mass, and subcutaneous fat mass inside the outline ellipse (C).
