<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appeal, to a customer, an activity about environmental protection executed in a store and a management organization of putting emphasis on safety of foods executed in the store, while considering a lifestyle of putting emphasis on health and sustainability (so-called LOHAS). <P>SOLUTION: This information display system introduced in the store includes information displays and a server. The plurality of information displays is arranged in a sales space, and each thereof includes a measuring part for measuring an environment characteristic and for generating environment characteristic information, based on the result therein. The environment characteristic information generated in each information display is transmitted to the server. The server generates environment characteristic distribution information indicating a distribution state of the environment characteristics in the sale space, based on the collected environment characteristic information and positional information of the respective information displays, and distributes the information and merchandise information including a price of merchandise, to each information display.
