PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document image display device for displaying a document and a proper image corresponding to the document.

SOLUTION: A document image display device includes: a document storage part 11 in which a document is stored; a document analyzing part 12 for dividing the document into chunks, and for obtaining dependency information showing the dependency of each chunk; a merging part 13 for merging a plurality of chunks connected on the basis of a signal dependency relation as a relation between one chunk and the chunks receiving dependency only from the chunk into one chunk by using the dependency information; an image obtaining part 14 for obtaining a plurality of images corresponding to one or more chunks including at least the merged chunks among the merged chunks and the unmerged chunks; and a display part 16 for displaying a chunk column corresponding to the document and a plurality of images obtained by the image obtaining part 14 corresponding to each of the chunks included in the chunk column so that the correspondence of the chunks and the plurality of images can be recognized.
