PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf swing training device suitable for increasing muscle strength of various body parts needed when executing a golf swing and training proper swing form. SOLUTION: The device is configured so that, by grasping the grip 24 of a golf swing mechanism 7, the height of which can be adjusted according to body height, and executing a swing action, the arcing rotational movement of the grip is transmitted from a swing arm holder 8 to a dynamic force transmission shaft 12, and further to a weight arm holder 17, to which a weight arm 18 has been affixed, causing the weight arm 18 to rotate around the axis of the weight arm holder 17, whereby a weight 19 of the weight arm 18 acts as a load counter to the swing force. Furthermore, the device has a mechanism with which the load force of the weight, which is fastened to the weight arm, can be optionally adjusted according to individual differences in muscular strength.
