PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct camera shake of wide vibration and frequency ranges. SOLUTION: The camera includes: a lens barrel 2 that has built-in imaging lenses 3, 5 and an imaging element 6 and horizontally refracts and guides a light flux incident from an object onto the imaging lenses 3, 5 to the imaging element 6; a sensor to detect the shake of the camera 1; an extraction means to extract the horizontal and vertical components of the camera shake detected by the sensor; a first shake correction means 7 disposed in the lens barrel 2 to drive the correction lens 7a according to the horizontal and vertical components of the camera shake; and a second shake correction means 8 to turn the lens barrel 2 around the optical axis L2 refracted by the imaging lenses 3, 5 according to the vertical components of the camera shake.
