PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood floating prevention structure for a vehicle which suppresses an increase in weight, eliminates the need of increasing assembling accuracy more than necessary, and does not obstruct the rising of a hood when an obstacle outside a vehicle is protected. SOLUTION: The hood floating prevention structure 16 prevents a hood 12 from being floated while the striker 24 of the hood is locked to the latch mechanism 14 of a front bulk head 13. The hood floating prevention structure 16 includes a stopper 51 which is provided so as to face the rear leg 24c of the striker and stopping the movement (drawing) of the striker 24 to the rear of a vehicle body by the abutment of the striker with the rear leg 24c.
