PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscosity modifier which has an excellent effect of reducing the viscosity of a plastisol composition and enables the preparation of a plastisol composition giving an excellent cured product at a low cost. SOLUTION: The viscosity modifier for a plastisol composition includes: (A) a compound having at least one among carboxyl group or its salt, alkoxy group and glycidyl group; (B) an amine-based compound; and (C) at least one selected from the group consisting of metal chelate compounds. The plastisol composition contains the viscosity modifier and a polymer. The article includes a coating layer prepared from the composition. The molded product is molded from the composition.
