PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor preventing an error operation which may occur when an identifier held by a card as identification information before and after exchange of the card is taken over, and avoiding increase of manpower of changing of setups of peripheral devices. SOLUTION: The information processor includes: an option card 200 which has a preset first identifier; a card information maintaining part 10 which maintains a user-settable second identifier; an arrangement change determination part 1 which determines whether or not the arrangement of the option card 200 has been changed within a system; an identification information acquisition part 2 which acquires the identification information of the other option card connected in the system if the arrangement change has not been made; an identification information determination part 3 which determines whether or not the second identifier is used in the system as the identification information; and an identifier setup part 4 which sets up the second identifier as the identification information if the second identifier is not used and which sets up the first identifier as the identification information if the option card 200 is determined to be changed in arrangement by the arrangement change determination part 1.
