The system has a threaded pin (29) brought into a plug-in profile (27) through a borehole (28) of the profile. The plug-in profile comprises an engagement element in which the pin engages such that a locking element of the profile is pressed against a corrugation for establishing a durable connection. The pin is brought widely into the profile such that the pin hits on a base profile (23) and the plug-in profile in the region of the pin is moved away from the base profile during further insertion of the pin into the plug-in profile. An independent claim is also included for a method for compensating unevenness in a wall of a component opening during mounting of a closure element e.g. door i.e. sliding door, and window.
