<p>A method of transmit power control to allow a transmission side to execute transmit power control so that a measured value of SIR is matched with target SIR, and a device thereof include storage means (conversion table storage memory 40) to be set for each reception environment at a reception side and store the target SIR corresponding to an error rate of reception data; and a control means (conversion table switching control unit 38) to update SIR to the target SIR in accordance with the reception environment measured at the reception side or the reception environment selected at the reception side, wherein the reception environment at the reception side is digitized, the target SIR corresponding to the error rate of the reception data is set for each of the reception environments, and the target SIR is changed in accordance with the reception environment measured at the reception side or the reception environment selected at the reception side. Such structure can achieve high accuracy of power control adapting to a reception environment.</p> |
