The system has a solar collector (1) and a hot water tank (2) with a heat exchanger (3) for heating industrial water. The collector is connected with the tank. The tank is arranged downstream to the collector and has a heating element (4) e.g. heating rod. The heating element has a safety device for detecting surface temperature of the heating element, where the temperature corresponds to a preset limit temperature of the water in the heating operation. The safety device serves for switching off of a power supply of the heating element when the preset temperature is exceeded.
