PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for compensating power failure of a commercial clothes handling machine are provided to accurately recover the operating information by detecting the abnormal supply of the power supply and previously storing the operating information of a clothes handling device after normal voltage or power failure has been recovered. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating power failure of a commercial clothes handling machine is as follows. The abnormal state of the power supply provided from a clothes handling device is detected(S10,S20). The power consumption of the load of the clothes handling device is minimized, the present operation information of the clothes handling device is stored and the operation stops(S30,S50). If the power supply is in a normal state, the stored operation information is recovered and the operation starts again(S70,S80). |
