PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow quick and continuous search at a high resolution while moving across a wide range of geology of a ground. SOLUTION: A transceiver boom 2 on which a transceiver part is mounted is supported by a support equipment 4 and a support post 3 in an automobile 1. The transceiver part is connected to an EM transceiver 6 in the automobile 1 through a cable 5, to which a personal computer 7 is connected. The transceiver part comprises a transmission/reception coil, an amplifier, a filter, a switch and capacitor for resonance, etc. The EM transceiver 6 comprises a detection circuit, a DC conversion circuit, and a stable large-current supply circuit, etc. A magnetic field is transmitted/received by making the transceiver part sequentially change measurement frequencies while the automobile 1 travels. The EM transceiver 6 detects component values, etc., of a reception magnetic field. The personal computer 7 calculates and displays a specific resistance, etc., of the ground.
