A central controller controls the operation of air-conditioners that are interconnected through a communication network. A protocol converter converts the communication standard of signal communicated between the air-conditioners and the central controller, into another communication standard. The converter detects the connection state of the air-conditioners and transmits the detected information to the central controller. An independent claim is also included for method for operating central control system. |
