Provided is a method, use, device and computer program product for DNA alignment and sequence analysis of a DNA database comprising a number of sequences of DNA nucleotides. The method, use, device and computer program product has the advantage over the prior art that they allow the ability to distribute for computation both in a scalable manner on available computational resources.
