发明名称 Fabric resistant to slipping
摘要 <p>787,798. Fabrics having slip-resistant surfaces. RIEGEL TEXTILE CORPORATION. June 18, 1956 [July 26, 1955], No. 18817/56. Class 140. [Also in Group X] A flexible lightweight air-pervious fibrous sheet material has on one side thereof a plurality of closely spaced dots, comprising essentially a plasticized thermoplastic resin containing 0.8 to 1.2 parts by weight of plasticizer per part by weight of resin, said dots adhering to the surface of the sheet material by virtue of the extension of the material of the dot into the interstices of sheet material, and being relatively soft and somewhat tacky to the touch, the length of the base of a dot being <SP>1</SP>/ 32 to one inch and may be of height from <SP>1</SP>/ 128 to <SP>2</SP>/ 32 inch, and the area occupied by a dot being <SP>1</SP>/ 1250 to “ square inches and the dots covering 10 to 60 per cent of the area of said side. The resin material may contain 0.1 to 1 per cent by weight each of a stabilizer and a lubricant. Suitable stabilizers are organotin compounds, e.g. organotin phosphates, diphenyl tin pyrophosphate, reaction products of organotin oxides, e.g. dibutyl, diphenyl or dilauryl tin oxide, with aldehydes, e.g. benzaldehyde, ethylhexanol, furfural, butyraldehyde, dialkyl tin mereaptides, e.g. dibutyl tin mercaptide, cadmium salts of esters, e.g. cadmium laurate, octoate, ricinoleate, diglycidyl ether of diphenyl propane, substituted benzophenone and derivatives thereof, substituted phenols, alpha and beta-conidendrol. Silicone resins are suitable lubricants. Suitable resin materials are vinyl resins, e.g. vinyl chloride, vinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate, vinyl alkyl ether, i.e. vinyl methyl ether, vinyl acetal, vinylidene chloride polymers, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer or mixtures thereof; acrylic resins, e.g. polyacrylonitrile, polyacrylic acid, methacrylic acid polymers, butadiene-acrylonitrile and styreneacrylonitrile copolymers; alkyd resins; cellulosic resins, e.g. cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, ethyl cellulose; polyethylene; linear polyamides, e.g. nylon; polyesters, e.g. saturated dibasic acid-glycol resins, i.e. terephthalic acid-ethylene glycol esters; styrene resins, e.g. polystyrene, butadiene-styrene ; synthetic rubber, e.g. neoprene, butyl rubber. Preferred plasticizers are derivatives of phthalic acid, e.g. dialkyl phthalates, i.e. dioctyl, di-(2-ethylhexyl)-, di-(2-ethylhexyl) hexahydro-, octyl decyl-, di-n-decyl-, diallyl-, butyl cyclohexyl-, dihexyl-, dimethoxyethyl- or butyl benzyl phthalate; derivatives of adipic acid, e.g. dialkyl adipates, i.e. dioctyl-, diisooctyl-, dinonyl, di-n-hexyl-, dicapryl-, iso-octyldecyl-, di-(2-ethylhexyl)-, dibutoxyethyl-, dibenzyl adipate; sebacic acid derivatives, e.g. dioctyl, diiso-octyl, dicapryl, dibenzyl, butyl benzyl, capryl benzyl, glycol, dibutoxyethyl, dihexyl or dibutyl sebacate; polyoxyethylene glycol polymers having a molecular weight of 200 to 7500, e.g. carbowax; ethylhexoic acid derivatives, e.g. 2.2<SP>1</SP>-(2-ethylhexamide) diethyl di-(2-ethyl hexoate); polyesters, e.g. " Paraplex " (Registered Trade Mark), Flexol, Plastolein; epoxy derivatives, e.g. reaction products of a polyphenol, e.g. bisphenol A (p,p<SP>1</SP>-isopropylidenediphenol) or B, with an epoxy compound, e.g. epichlorohydrin; chlorinated paraffin; phosphoric acid esters, e.g. tri-(2-ethylhexyl)-, tributoxyethyl triphenyl-, and tricresyl phosphate. Suitable fabrics are paper, cotton fabrics, viscose rayon, acetate rayon, nylon, " Dacron " (Registered Trade Mark), " Orlon " (Registered Trade Mark), " Acrilan " (Registered Trade Mark), " Dynel " (Registered Trade Mark), linen and wool, the fabrics being woven, knitted, porous or non-porous. The dots may be all shapes, e.g. circular, square, diamond, triangular, animal-like, flowers, and may be formed by spraying, stencilling or printing, or by passing the fabric through a pair of horizontal rollers, the upper roller having small shaped holes through which the reisn material passes and is deposited on the fabric in the form of drops which are then cured, e.g. by heating to 350-400‹ C. using infra-red lamps.</p>
