PURPOSE: A phase contrast film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure the constant retardation value, and the excellent permeability and heat resistance of the film. CONSTITUTION: A phase contrast film is obtained by hardening a resin composition. The change amount of the phase difference value of the phase contrast film is 1~20 nanometers, after heating for 10 hours in 100 deg C. The resin composition contains a silicone resin with the number average molecular weight of 1,000~80,000, a photopolymerization initiator, and a thermal polymerization initiator. |
