PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting and maintaining the seat height is provided to enable a cam to be separated as needed and to ensure a more simpler and improved function. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(1) for adjusting and maintaining the seat height comprises a fixed base, an actuator(18) and a cam(13). The actuator is located between the bases of the seat. The actuator is formed in order to be movable to the fixed base. The actuator is connected to one or more power sources through a control valve(10). The control valve comprises a control member for controlling the pressurizing and the ventilating of the actuator. The cam which changes the height of the seat is connected to one or more drive units(14).
