PURPOSE: A multiple water meter reading system having no a repeater is provided to measure the total usage of water in a household without using a data collecting unit and a repeater. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of water meters(10,11,12,20,21,22,23) is comprised of a battery and a timer. The timer controls the power of the battery at a certain time. The water meters communicate with each other through wireless. A hand-held inspection terminal(30) comprises a wireless transceiver, a controller, a memory unit, and an output unit. The controller receives all inspection data. The memory unit stores the inspection data. The output unit outputs the inspection data.
