PURPOSE: A current measuring apparatus of the battery system of a car is provided to measure the current of a high voltage battery system at a hybrid [hybrid] / fuel cell vehicle by using a shunt resistor. CONSTITUTION: A current is outputted from a high voltage battery system. A shunt resistor(110) generates the voltage in proportion to the current. The shunt resistor senses the current of the high voltage battery system. A battery controller(120) detects the sensed current from the shunt resistor. The battery controller comprises a semiconductor switch device(121), a transformer(122), and a central processing unit(127). The semiconductor switch device turns on/off the output voltage of the shunt resistor. The transformer transfers the output voltage of the shunt resistor to a secondary side. |
