PURPOSE: Bypass searching method and apparatus are provided to enable a user to immediately select a desired route from the compared routes by displaying two routes on one display. CONSTITUTION: A bypass searching method is as follows. On a navigation terminal performing a route guide, the destination information of a moving object is received(S610). The location information corresponding to the received destination information is extracted from a database(S620). Based on the location information corresponding to the extracted destination information, a map group information including one or more routes is displayed(S650).
