PURPOSE: A pest control device using LED illumination is provided, which gives a stress to pest in a method for generating and maintaining an electro-retinogram signal. CONSTITUTION: A pest control device using LED illumination comprises: a light source portion which consists of LED emitting the light of 400-500 nanometer wavelength most sensitive to pest or the light including the wavelength band thereof; and a driving part for driving the light source portion. In the power line provided to the light source portion, a semiconductor switch is equipped and a circuit for controlling the semiconductor switch.
