Elastic laminate comprises nonwoven outer layers and an elastic film laminated at least partially between the outer layers, where at least one of the two outer layers consists of a nonwoven fabric solidified by water jet, which is stretchable in cross direction. The nonwoven fabric solidified by water jet is pre-stretched in the region of the elastic film in at least one axial direction.
