<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component transfer apparatus which proactively prevents a malfunction such as breakages of a jig and a pickup mechanism, caused by the mistake of the jig from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic component transfer apparatus, with which a pickup operation control, corresponding to a form of a jig 1 stored in a magazine 2, is performed, the form of the jig 1 mounted on a parts supply stage 3 is discriminated by jig discriminating means at a pre-stage carrying out a pickup operation. When the form of the jig 1, mounted on the parts supply stage 3, is different from that of the jig 1 stored in a memory 8, an error processing, such as stoppage of the pickup operation, is performed to proactively prevent the jig 1, a transfer head 6 and an ejector 11 from breaking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
