The device (1) has receiving units (10, 90) designed in the form of pockets and movable along a closed revolving path, where an object (100) is receivable by each receiving unit at a transferring location (S1). The receiving units form a pocket base (95) for the object to be transferred. A holding element and/or braking element (45) is movable together with the receiving units. The holding element and/or braking element indirectly acts on the object in a region of the transferring location, and decelerates the object before reaching the pocket base. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring and processing flexible, flat objects i.e. printing products. |
