PURPOSE: A mobile terminal for displaying a three-dimensional menu and a control method using the same are provided to supply various kinds of menu data and increase the convenience of a user interface by displaying data on a 3D display region and providing data through a 3D input method. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(160) stores a main menu, a sub menu, and an item. A display unit(151) displays a display region of a 3D cubic shape as well as a main menu and a sub menu on each plane of the display region. A sensing unit(140) creates a 3D proximity signal by sensing the motion of an object which approaches the display unit. A control unit(180) gives an animation effect to the sub menu according to the proximity signal. |
