The cassette has a carrier tape (6) supporting a lancet and/or test fields (8) as functional elements for examining a sample of human or animal body fluid. The tape slides past the cassette when it is used at a seal element (12) and a frictional place (14). The frictional place has a surface that consists of fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer contains PTFE and polyvinylidene fluoride or is applied as a lacquer or a film. The frictional places are formed by a cover element (15). An independent claim is also included for a blood glucose measuring system comprising a transport mechanism.
