PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus of managing an I/O(Input/Output) port status at a digital broadcasting device are provided to supply more convenient broadcasting environment by obtaining a current state of an I/O terminal actively according to an event in an application. CONSTITUTION: An application registers an AV(Audio/Video) I/O port manager listener for recognizing an event including I/O terminal status information(S910). If a change happens in the status of the I/O terminal, the application recognizes the status change of the I/O terminal as the event through a registered AV I/O port listener(S920,S930). The application obtains the state information of the I/O terminal through the middleware(S940), and the listener waits for the status change if there is not status change of the I/O terminal. |
