PURPOSE: A surgery access apparatus and a method for offering the seal movement at a predetermined route are provided to vertically move for the convenience of manipulation within the body of a patient while maintaining the insertion of the surgical device inserted through the seal member. CONSTITUTION: A housing(12) comprises a central axis and a working channel. The housing additionally includes a base member supporter(44) secured between the housing cover and a housing support(42). The seal member is located within the housing. The seal member is configured to seal hermetically the working channel.
