<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of buttons of a remote control transmitter and obtain preferable operability by using common operating buttons for a TV built-in unit and an external connection unit, and optionally selecting and operating the buttons. <P>SOLUTION: When a video recording button is operated, a control section 108 reads a present operation object unit and its state from an operation object unit management section 109, and when the control section decides that the operation object unit is other than the external unit and a video recording reproducing module 106 is in a recordable state, the control section applies video recording control to a video recording image generating module 106, and when the control section decides that the operation object unit is a DVD-RAM and it is in a video recordable state, the control section issues a video recording control command via a digital bus I/F 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
