<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which realizes easy reworkability without damaging a liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with the liquid crystal panel 2, a backlight unit 10 with a supporting part 9 to support the rear face of the liquid crystal panel 2 and a frame 5 which exposes a display part 3 of the liquid crystal panel 2 and is laid on a non-display part 4 of the liquid crystal panel 2 wherein the supporting part 9 and the frame 5 are constructed with a material softer than a glass plate of the liquid crystal panel 2, the backlight unit 10 and the frame 5 are combined together by making a protruding part 15 formed on either of them engage with a recessing part 16 formed on the other of them and the non-display part 4 of the liquid crystal panel 2 is interposed and pressed between the supporting part 9 and the frame 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
