APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THREE DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying a stereoscopic image using a shutter eye-glass is provided to appreciate the stereoscopic image without additional cost by watching the stereoscopic image by the use of a display device. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image display comprises a recording/reproducing device(100), a recognition sensor(200) and a shutter glass(300). The recording/reproducing device reproduces a three-dimensional image data recorded in a recording medium. The recognition sensor senses an identification sign for indicating a left-eye or right-eye image displayed on a screen of a display device(400). The shutter glass supplies the left-eye or right-eye image to the user according to the sensed identification sign.
