<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which controls an amount of electrostatic charge without sharply fluctuating toner concentration of developer by adjusting capacity of an internal space of a developing tank. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 20 which develops an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrophotographic photoreceptor 19 using two-component developer includes a spatial capacity variable means 24 for varying capacity of a space (electrostatic charge space) 30 sandwiched between a blade member 23 which regulates the length of a point of the developer formed on the surface of a developing roller 22, and the peripheral surface of the developing roller 22 on the upstream side in the rotating direction of the developing roller 22 from the blade member 23, wherein the amount of electrostatic charge of the developer supplied to the developing roller 22 is controlled by varying the capacity of the electrostatic charge space 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
