PURPOSE: An image processing method for reducing time for edge detection by omitting preprocessing about an input image is provided to easily detect the edge without using complex trigonometrical function n gradient detection. CONSTITUTION: If an image processing device receives an input image, a window setting unit sets a part of the input image(S32). An edge information detector detects edge information by analysis of an image pixel within the windows(S36). The edge information detection unit transfers the edge information to an image processing unit. The image processing device processes the input image through the edge information(S38). An output image generator outputs the processing image(S40).
