EVAPORATOR

PURPOSE: An evaporator is provided to increase heat exchange efficiency by preventing the decrease the heat exchange performance by effectively discharging or removing condensed water. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator comprises an upper header tank, a lower header tank, tubes(31,32), and fins(50). Both ends of a tube are fixed to the upper and lower header tanks and form a heat exchange medium flow path. The tubes comprise a first row and a second row. The fins are installed between the first row of tubes and the second row of tubes and comprise louvers(40). The evaporator comprises an anterior area. The louver is not formed backward from the end of the first tube row which corresponds to a point meeting with the air in a width direction of the first tube row located on the side into which the air flows on the anterior area for the first time. The louver or a slit is further formed on the anterior area in parallel to an air flow direction.
