OUTDOOR UNIT FOR SPLIT TYPE AIR-CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An outdoor unit for a detachable air conditioner is provided to increase the air volume and the blowing efficiency by the use of a fan which has relatively great air volume. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit for a detachable air conditioner comprises cases(12,22), a compressor, a condenser(14), a pair of fan housings(24), a pair of sirocco fans, a pair of motors and a pair of motor supports. The compressor is installed in an intake part of the case and compresses the refrigerant. The condenser heat-exchanges the refrigerant compressed by the compressor with the external air and condenses the refrigerant. The fan housing guides the discharge direction of the air heat-exchanged with the condenser. After sucking the external air from the intake part of the case and passing the condenser, the sirocco fan discharges it through the discharge part of the case. The motor is connected to the sirocco fan and drives the sirocco fan. The motor support fixes the motor to the fan housing.
