A turbine engine support arm 26 for use in an engine having an inner casing 14, an outer casing 10 and an interim fairing 12 spaced from the inner and outer casings 14, 10, the support arm 26 comprising an integrally formed arm 28 which extends from the inner casing 14 to the outer casing 10 and which is connected to each casing 14, 10 at first and second end regions respectively, an intermediate region of the arm extending through the fairing 12. The support arm 26 may comprise a pair of arms 28 having a common region at the end connected to the outer casing 10, and which diverge towards the inner casing 14. The support arm 26 may be pivotally connected to the inner casing 14 and fast with the outer casing 10. The support arm 26 may be hollow and may include insulation surrounding the arm 26 along at least part of its length. |
