<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recovering tin and valuable metal from solder scrap are provided to easily separate tin from waste solder and recover valuable metal, silver, to be recycled. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for recovering tin and valuable metal from solder scrap comprises an electrolytic cell(10), an anode part(20), a cathode part(30), a rectifier(40), a tin extraction part(110), and a silver extraction part(150). The anode part is made from solder scrap and dipped in electrolyte(11) of the electrolytic cell. The cathode part is made from metal coated with a passive layer and dipped in the electrolyte of the electrolytic cell. The tin extraction part comprises an anode film(50). The silver extraction part receives sludge(70) left after passing through the anode film and separates silver through deposition.</p> |
